Queensland School Design & Installation Solar System

Stage 1 - 50kW Solar Array
In September 2019 our team at Gardel Electrical were contracted by Woodridge North State School (QLD) to design, install and maintain a brand new 50kw solar array. The School already had a very small, low-functioning 5kW Solar system which our team removed to make way for the new system.
A School uses most of it’s electricity consistently during the day, making it a perfect location for Solar Power. To utilise the full energy of the Sun throughout each day, our specialist team designed a system that faces North. This allows the system to generate the greatest amount of energy possible and maximises self consumption.
At Gardel Electrical we focus on designing systems that are not only functional, but that are visually appealing and extremely well designed. Our team worked hard on this system to ensure that every panel is perfectly straight and in line, and that all parts are up to code and meet all AU/NZ Standards.
We used a CORE 1 SMA 50kW Inverter and 66kW of Tier 1 Canadian Solar PV Panels. A Clenergy Racking System designed specifically for a Tin roof was also used to ensure the best functionality.
This system has an expected Return on Investment of only 5 years!
Stage 2 - 33kW Solar Addition
In May 2020, our team were again contracted by Woodridge North State School to complete a system upgrade. We installed a further 33kW of Tier 1 Canadian Solar Panels and a 25kW SMA Solar Inverter, on Clenergy Racking for Tin roofs.
It has been our pleasure working with Michael and the team at Woodridge North State School.
