Queensland Solar Design & Installation at Regional Hospital
14/04/2022
Our Gardel Electrical team were contracted to complete this installation for Goondiwindi Hospital in March 2021. We worked closely with the Goondiwindi Hospital team to determine their usage requirements and energy needs, to design this 99.9kW solar PV system.
This Solar System has consistently produced over 17MWh of renewable energy every month, on average, since it was installed. At Gardel Electrical we focus on designing systems that are not only highly functional and built to last, but are also visually appealing and non-intrusive.
Our team of trained solar designers created this system to ensure it would receive maximum sun throughout daylight hours and ensure Goondiwindi Hospital and Queensland Health the best return on their investment. Our experienced and CEC Accredited Solar Installers then worked to ensure that every panel was perfectly straight, the system was fully connected, and that everything was done in-line with our strict code, as well as meeting all AU/NZ Standards.
Designed with only the best products, this 99.9kW PV Solar System consists of:
222 x Canadian Solar Photovoltaic Module CS3W-450MS,
1 x 82.8kW SolarEdge Inverter SE82.8K,
111 x P-950 SolarEdge Optimizers, and
Clenergy Racking System designed to suit the roof profile.
This system has produced over 170 MWh of energy (equivalent to 170,000 kilowatt-hours) in one year between March 2021 to March 2022 when this report was created.
The Goondiwindi Hospital have now saved over 103,000 kilograms of CO2 Emissions from entering the atmosphere, thanks to this high-quality Solar PV System.
The Self-Consumption Rate for this System = 100%
The self-consumption rate is the percentage of the total electricity generated that was consumed by the site. Increasing the self-consumption rate is the key to getting the best savings from a solar system.
Huge thank you to the team at Goondiwindi Hospital for working with our team at Gardel Electrical to design and create this 99.9kW Solar System.
